LBMA-i is the trade transparency and publication service brought to the precious metals market by Boat Services in cooperation with Autilla Ltd who are utilising technology developed by Cinnober. LBMA-i has been formed in direct response to demand for a simplified, cost-effective reporting service that improves transparency, generates liquidity and meets regulatory demand. One of the recommendations from the Fair and Effective Markets Review (FEMR) jointly issued by the Bank of England, UK Financial Conduct Authority and HM Treasury in June 2015 was to improve transparency and the LBMA-i service being launched in 2017 for Gold, Silver, Platinum & Palladium products will introduce that transparency.
We've developed close relationships with an impressive range of industry partners and they're involved in everything we do.
By selecting Boat, in partnership with Autilla, the LBMA have started the journey to adopt the most significant regulatory reporting and OTC transparency solution since MiFID was introduced in 2007.
